The PD2208E8 is a highly integrated intelligent over/under voltage protection single-chip solution for 220V AC mains power and rated 80A loads. It features a magnetic latching relay for automatic power-off in case of voltage abnormalities and self-recovery upon voltage restoration. The chip highly integrates an LDO, clamping circuit, and relay driver, eliminating many external components, simplifying PCB layout, and reducing the overall BOM. It specifically addresses the pain points of traditional voltage protectors, such as slow response, short contact life, and high cost, making it suitable for voltage safety protection in various scenarios, including residential power distribution, charging piles, and outdoor unattended equipment.
